چکیده

In this paper, an integrated architecture of objects, agents, and problem solving adapters to model information systems is presented. The approach employs task-based problem solving adapters as a means for mapping stakeholder tasks and for integrating software artifacts like objects and agents in an information system. The integrated approach is applicable for developing database systems, management information systems and intelligent information systems. In this paper, we describe application of this approach in the sales and marketing function.

Structured Development of Problem Solving Methods

ÐProblem solving methods (PSMs) describe the reasoning components of knowledge-based systems as patterns of behavior that can be reused across applications. While the availability of extensive problem solving method libraries and the emerging consensus on problem solving method specification languages indicate the maturity of the field, a number of important research issues are still open. In p...

Urban Vegetation Recognition Based on the Decision Level Fusion of Hyperspectral and Lidar Data

Introduction: Information about vegetation cover and their health has always been interesting to ecologists due to its importance in terms of habitat, energy production and other important characteristics of plants on the earth planet. Nowadays, developments in remote sensing technologies caused more remotely sensed data accessible to researchers. The combination of these data improves the obje...

Examining Group Behavior and Collaboration Using Abm and Robots

Agent-based modeling has been extensively used by scientists to study complex systems. Participatory simulations are similar to agent-based models except that humans play the role of the virtual agents. The Bifocal modeling approach uses sensors to gather data about the real-world phenomena being modeled and uses that information to affect the model. In this work, we are interested in automatic...

Systems Risk Analysis UsingHierarchical Modeling

A fresh look at the system analysis helped us in finding a new way of calculating the risks associated with the system. The author found that, due to the shortcomings of RPN, more researches needed to be done in this area to use RPNs as a new source of information for system risk analysis. It is the purpose of this article to investigate the fundamental concepts of failure modes and effects ana...
